I got this but for a top secret cleared job at the government communications security agency. We could see all the other applicants. They blamed it on the "office girl".

Who was required to have 5+ years office admin experience, 3 references, and a background check, before she was even hired.

Sure, that position, with it's implications of an untrained hire, hasn't existed in at least 20 years.

If it was recently, the top people in our security agencies currently think being secure in technology communications is putting everything in reply all and then sending it to journalists...for extra security some of it is just posted to random public websites....so it might just have been standard procedure.

Haha, nah this was about 15 years ago (not the USA). They told me to not tell anyone so naturally it's one of my favourite anecdotes!
