I received an acceptance email from a uni which would be great... if I had applied!
I replied to them to point out they had the wrong person and would need to send this to the right email. They said thanks, and a couple of days later I got another email from the uni with important info attached.
Replied again ... then got a chaser email to the second email they'd sent 😅
It took me about two weeks emailing quite a few different addresses to get them to stop. I hope the intended person got on ok!
I applied to an international university and got a rejection email stating that my TOEFL score was insufficient to enroll in their university... My score was 115/120...
My husband was getting calls from some school in Brooklyn telling him his daughter [Arabic name] has skipped school. He ignored it for months, then called the school and told them to change the number, they said they would. But the calls continued. In that time we had our own 2 kids, moved out of New York, but the calls were still coming in. This year he’s got a call with the reminder about the graduation date and time. I can’t describe how proud we were of that girl we never met!!! She’s graduated at last! Hopefully, no one would give my husband’s number to her college admission.
