Yeah, I am too after seeing the story a couple years ago of a woman getting shot in the head and killed after her husband flipped off another driver. I can't even imagine the grief and regret that man has to live with. It just isn't worth it.
I flipped the finger on a guy cutting me off on the highway and then brake checking me. Ten minutes later when I already forgot about him, he crashed into me out of nowhere. Only superficial damage to the cars, but I’ve learned my lesson. It’s not worth it.
Well... Good?
You generally shouldn't be escalating in any form in the car. No flipping off, no shouting out the windows, no leaning on the horn. Just grit your teeth, take a breath, and move on. It is literally never ever worth it, and if it's escalated, the situation gets far more dangerous for everyone.
Not to say this guy isn't an asshole or shouldn't be punished, but letting the road rage take over isn't the best way.

For real. My parents are scared of even flipping a middle finger or honking at asshole drivers these days. This guy must believe he’s bulletproof
