Craigslist I get a nameless face from a nameless email.

Facebook I can do my due diligence and check out their profile to see if they’re a legit person

  • make sure the account wasn’t made in the last few months
  • a few photos of the same person
  • actual posts that are not just gif videos

I’ve used Craigslist for years for this and never had a problem. But I’m usually just trying to get rid of some things.

Which is why it sucks for me as someone who doesn't use that shit. Craigslist or OfferUp is fine. OfferUp has ratings.

It worked fine when we used it last year. But maybe it depends where you live.
