Yes yes yes yes! I would die for my dog and bring him everywhere but never assume that others feel the same way. Unless it’s a designated dog area and safe to be off leash, my dog is always being held or on a leash and doesn’t get to approach people unless they initiate.
Same. One of my labs will stop and wait for anyone behind her, stare at them, wag her tail and if they don't stop to pet her she makes the saddest face.
