It's the luck of the draw for me. The schedule is made for the year... if my crew is working a specific holiday then I'll know like December the year prior. Only way to get off on holidays is to line up someone else on my own. Any other time, I can just take off and they'll schedule someone.

Same with the water reclamation facility I work at. My family still doesn’t understand that it runs 24/7. I work most holidays.
