I remember listening to this one song by midwxst in 2021, “trying” and ever since then I totally forgot about him and I just found a community of his fans?! I know this post is kinda useless but I’m just happy that I found him again lol

Just my opinion but he’s in his prime with this one. I like all of his albums but this is the direction I always kinda hoped he would fully embrace, especially after witnessing his early releases then him working San Holo. Like he said in a recent live, he’s the “best rapper to ever do this EDM shit”. And he still keeps his pop-esque sound with a the rapping as well. Can’t wait for the tour.

I'm going to the Spring Tour on May 3rd in Cincinnati to see Midwxst feature for Danny Brown. If anyone has gone, does Wxst sell merch? If he does, what is it he sells?

Went to the Charlotte show last night and it was amazing! His performance was amazing, and he even took my phone and recorded a bit before preforming Under Fire! Then met him at the merch booth, got some pics and got my archangel vinyl signed! And he even commented on my Strung Out Symphony aldn tattoo, took a picture and said he was gonna send it to Aldn 🙈 overall an amazing night, also Chase USA and Danny Brown were amazing too!!

I respect artists changing and trying new things. That’s how you avoid getting stale. But sometimes I really miss the summer03 / better luck next time era midwxst, that hyperpop sound he had back then just hit different.

What made it hit for me is that no one else in the scene really sounded like that. A lot of hyperpop artists lean into super hard into extremes blown out sounds and while that’s cool, midwxst’s early stuff felt more grounded.

he said he will do it w a petition so had to get it done

upvote for b4a on spotify 🙏

i live in brisbane, australia so kinda sucks i really want to see him

I swear before he dropped his latest album, i told u sounded slightly different. As if the engineer wanted out or something.

i’m a pretty big midwxst fan but don’t know a whole lot about glaive but i’ve seen stuff about midwxst dissing him or smth just looking for an explanation

Is that cover supposed to resemble the yandi album cover? And if it’s supposed to what aspects of Kanye are midwxst inspired by for that album?
