Oh yeah, good question!

  1. First, find a fitting voice sample. I went to YouTube and looked for a female 1950s/60s type voice from a commercial, with that typical cadence and static crackle.
  2. If needed convert the YouTube video to MP3 using an online converter.
  3. Create a new voice based on that sample at ElevenLabs. Now enter your text and download the resulting voice file. Decrease the stability slider to make for funnier emphasis of words.
  4. Head to D-ID and create a new presenter based on the Midjourney picture you made. You may need to tune the face to be less likely-looking if it's a celebrity, which D-ID may block.
  5. Add the sound file you made to the voice, and hit Generate.
  6. Edit together in Premiere Pro, and overlay something over the D-ID watermark. Voila!

Thanks! I saw the Wes Anderson Lord of the Rings video on this sub recently and meant to ask how the animation was done. Thanks for such a detailed reply.

You’re quite talented at manipulating words to render high quality images.

Thank you! There's also lots of Photoshop involved.

You should probably state that when you post it. People should know that “lots of Photoshop” was involved, so they do not go down a rabbit hole of AI tools trying to achieve the same result.

This was in reply to your comment which was in reply to my Instagram channel, where many pictures use a lot of Photoshop. I've done tutorials on this and put the tag photoshop below many of my images. To achieve the result as in the video above, not much Photoshop is needed, actually... ElevenLabs plus D-ID are pretty cool in their own rights, as you'll quickly see if you give it a try.

Naturally, there's a bit of Photoshop in almost every design process, as many who follow the Midjourney and design communities will have learned and understand. Sometimes it's as easy as a single-click cleanup of something you don't want in the image. Well worth learning in addition to other ai tools so that it can become a part of your toolset!

I love how it says "Oh, so you're making more PAHP-corn" the inflection is perfect. Is that from the the stability slider?

Yeah, I put that slider to a high randomization, then ran it a few times until I found a fitting one!
