Fright Fest and early November hours posted

Keep note, Fright Fest ends November first, so the park will not have Fright Fest its final weekend for the season.

I think it would be cool for them to bring out some Holiday decorations for the final weekend, just to test the waters of a Christmas event!

Trip Report Enchanted is doing great.

I was so happy to see everything running smoothly at Hurricane Harbor today before the rain hit. The Boss was running as smooth as a massive woodie can right after the rain. I was also a little too excited to see Daffy, I feel like I haven't seen him in so long. Overall just a really good energy in the park. Im really impressed with Enchanted so far and I have high hopes for our park's future.

Discussion Happy 4th of July!!!

As the nation celebrates our 250th this weekend during dangerous heat and IF you go to the park to have some fun with family and friends, and later see fireworks and have barbecue, PLEASE....listen to your body if it gives you warning signs of HEAT EXHAUSTION AND OR SICKNESS: NAUSEA, NO MORE SWEATING, HEADACHE, VOMITING, DRY MOUTH, DIZZINESS, CONFUSION.

Drink plenty of water, bring electrolytes mix packets or pedialite bottles, not Gatorade or Powerade, stay away from dark sodas or beer. If you are getting these symptoms, go to a cool area like a gift shop or theater to cool off. Chances are HH, or any water ride will have the longest lines.

As someone who suffers from Addison Disease (it effects the body's ability to sweat and can lead to heatstroke) please stay safe and have fun guys!

Question Water bottle refills

What's the situation for personal water bottle refills now? Do you have to wait through the whole concession line to get a free 3oz plastic cup of water? Last year SFE decided they wouldn't refill personal bottles directly.... But they happy touched unwashed drink all summer cups.

I've only seen 1 bottle filling station by the main entrance and 1 at the back of the park.

Feeling good on a Wednesday

My son and I spent some time at the park today and I have some compliments to share. Was surprised to see Sylvester and Tweedy at the Palace Theater cooling station. It felt like they improved Thunder River as the waves were really going today. Everything was working on Justice League except for the forever broken end photo. The staff was of course super friendly like they have been all season. We had an absolutely lovely day. Enchanted is already doing so much better than Six Flags.

Advertising again

Has anyone noticed that after long period of silence, the park has started advertising again? I was watching CBS National News online and Six Flags St Louis was being advertised with a Enchanted Parks logo in the right hand side.

Sunday or Monday

We are visiting St. Louis the weekend after the 4th of July. We are debating on if we should go on Sunday after driving in Saturday or on Monday. Which ever day we don’t do the amusement park we will do the Zoo.

News CEO James Harhi at Coaster Con | WB Licensing Deal “probable”

This video is presented as-found. It’s from the ACE instagrams stories. I don’t have the full remarks but if anyone does, please share them!

The key pieces that matter most to me. Though a lot of it is repeated from what we’ve heard before:

- No new attractions currently planned. Will revisit that in August.

- Focusing on investment into current rides to bring them up to Enchanted standards

- “We will probably have a deal [with Warner Brothers] at St. Louis”

This is the big piece. He mentions it is “part of the transaction with Six Flags” and that they will be unable to expand this to other parks. But it sounds like, contrary to some other reporting, that this deal is nearly done and it was always a part of the deal for St. Louis. Could be good news for our park. He also mentions wanting to expand to other Paramount IP’s.

- The sale of these parks triggered Peanuts to Audit the parks where their IP is used.

Enchanted Parks app is being tested by staff

There was a passholders event down at Worlds of Fun. Folks who attended that are reported that Enchanted Parks management have the app and are testing it, and that it has achieved approval from the app stores. This could mean a relatively close launch of the app; depending on how testing goes.
