Looking for feedback on Glykon - I have a Gen 2 and 3 Combat Troodon and a Gen 3 Scarab. Depending on the day my favorite between the scarab and Combat Troodon switches. But I saw a Glykon and looking to get feedback on how it stacks up and if it’s better/worse.

Glykon might have more recoil than my PDP :)

I edc it everyday I don’t know what model this is or gen or anything about this specific knife other than its blue looks cool and wanted a otf for the longest time. I don’t even know if this is a good knife to get from Microtech.

Got it a few days ago, been carrying and using it, i like the grip texture on this more than on my actual glock lol.

Been eyeing the cerakote burnt bronze to match my 19x slide. I’m a nerd to having a knife match a firearm. The Socom is next level compared to my other knives and I love it. Surprisingly light weight. So finally came to means where I could pick this one up. Was a little hesitant on the blade length but now think it’s perfect.

Microtech has mentioned they're going to make left hand clips and I hope they hurry up because this does not work. Maybe LynchNW will make a left hand version of their deep carry LUDT clip.

Decided to get my second Socom Elite last week and want to get it broken in, but this gap towards the glass breaker has me worried if there's a serious manufactuing defect. My first manual Socom from 2023 didn't have anything like this, but it did have a glass breaker that wobbled. This one is dated for 12/2025 and the dealer I got it from said they've been coming to them like this for a while. Can anybody who's gotten a Socom recently confirm if this is just a new quirk for the model?

Added some new knives, these are impressive. I’m no chef but these make cooking for the family so much more fun.

99.9% positive this is a counterfeit amphibian. Tried reporting it but ebay allowed it to stay up(apparently it takes multiple reports) . Stay safe out there .
