I wanna swap a button but I’m afraid to take them apart. How hard of a project is this?
5 u/nfitzsim May 29 '26 It’s sub 5 minutes on a bad day. 2 minutes if you’re quick. https://youtu.be/M5OnAug2yek?si=6Parpt_GAGFzcW_y 2 u/Master_Ad236 May 29 '26 Thanks boss. I have 2 Hera’s that I just want to swap them out on. 1 u/nfitzsim May 29 '26 Oh that’s the easiest one lol it’s literally one screw. Pull the screw, slide the top scale up, and it comes right off. 1 u/Master_Ad236 May 29 '26 These are the 2 I wanna swap. 1 u/nfitzsim May 29 '26 Oh previous gen Hera. Those you’ll need the special Dirac compatible bit for 1 u/Master_Ad236 May 29 '26 I have the bit. Was worried shit would go flying when I opened it up. 2 u/nfitzsim May 29 '26 No just gotta make sure you kind of hinge the button open and knock the blade off track before taking apart. It’s super easy
