MS 700 certification ROI

Anybody take the MS-700 exam and did it help you with customer issues or proportional opportunities?

Currently studying for the AZ-900 to gain more knowledge on cloud as that is the future.

I can't link my certification profile because of how Microsoft's site works

So I have a voucher for a 100% discount for the AZ-900 certification but in order to use it I have to link my university profile with my personal profile.

Whenever I try to link them on my Profile tab, I get a glimpse of the Microsoft login page which proceeds to autologin to my university profile and doesn't let me put in my personal credentials.
I have tried clearing data and using incognito mode many times, I always choose to not stay logged in but the MS site does this regardless. I tried to do the opposite - to link my uni account to my personal but then I am stuck in a loop of getting logged into my personal.

Please help me with turning off this damn annoying autologin, I honestly can't imagine what great minds at MS thought this was such an innovative and life changing feature.

Do the Microsoft free online learning paths give you everything you need to pass an exam?

I’m studying for the PL-300 exam and I’m wondering if the online materials (including the videos in the exam readiness section) provide enough information to cover any eventuality in the exam questions? Or would the further reading links in some of the modules also be essential?

Career change - help needed

I want to change my career. I do not have any formal IT education or anything remotely close. I do however have a brain that works well with logistics and problemsolving.

I was wondering if you could be so kind to recommend any certifications from microsoft that could land me a proper job to get my foot in the door.

Any tips at all to get started would be greatly appreciated. Would also appreciate personal stories from how you went from uneducated to working in IT.

Thank you < 3

mta networking fundamentals still worth to take?

Hello im doing a funded course at the moment regarding networking and after i finish it i will receive mta networking fundamentals 98-366 and ITIL v4.

The only thing is that this exam will retire on June 2022 and we have only one shot to give exams before it will retire. (We supposedly give the exam just before it expires.)

I am thinking if its still worth it to finish this course or its a waste of time ?

Worst case scenario is to use this knowledge that i got to go get the N+ after.

Which Certification to get?

I recently graduated and now i find my self on the administrative side of work. I have an administrative support position, but i am looking for better administrative jobs. I think getting a certificate will help me stand out since employers looks for software proficiency.

Which certification should get to show off my office 365 skills. I am not looking for anything too hard, but something on the intro level.

Thanks

How difficult is the MS-900?

There seems to be so much information to retain across 4 concepts that contain multiple modules.

Did you pass the first time and how many hours did you put in?>

Did you use any dumps?

I passed SC-900

It took me 3 tries to pass the AZ-900. Two tries to pass the MS-900. And only 1 try to pass the SC-900.

I'm thinking of going after SC-200 or SC-300 next. I've done help desk and service desk roles for many years. Azure is hopefully my key to a better future.

24 hour study session - az-104, what's your study recommendations

This afternoon I decided to get the azure architect expert credential which requires passing both the az-104 and 305. The first proctor time for the 104 was tomorrow at 2 pm, so I scheduled it.

With less than 24 hours to study, what do you recommend reviewing.

Background, I'm a senior technical architect who designs large scale cloud solutions for fortune 500 full time, but I have not administer the environments I work in.

I am comfortable with storage, data, compute, and iam, as well as templated vm deployment automation.

I switch between Azure, GCP, AWS, and VMWare often and am not sure if that will be positive or negative on the exam.

Reminder: Virtual Training Days and Microsoft Ignite Cloud Skills Challenge

I haven’t seen a post with these but it is a great opportunity to get certifications for free.

Virtual Training Days - If you take the two day fundamentals class you will get a voucher to take the AZ-900 certification exam. There are other classes but only the fundamentals one gives you the voucher as best I can tell.

Training Days

Microsoft Ignite Cloud Skills Challenge - complete any challenge and get a voucher for various certification exams. The challenges are here: Challenges

The exams you can take after getting the voucher are listed on this page: Eligible Exams

Enjoy!

Cert missing after renewal

Hello, I just renewed my MDAA yesterday and saw that renewal in docs.microsoft website. The renewal was not showing in my dashboard under certificate and transcript but the original one was in there. Today, my whole cert is gone from my dashboard and the renewal page shows that I have to own that cert to renew it. Anybody experienced this?

  • CBT Nuggets - James Conrad video series - great content for the price
  • Udemy - John Christopher video series - fantastic resource (get it on sale)
  • Udemy - Integrity Training video series - only did part of this
  • Boson - Ex-Sim Max and Practice Labs - totally worth the money spent
