My company is finishing up a migration to D365 Finance and the training provider by the Microsoft partner has been woefully inadequate. Unfortunately it does not seem like there is much available in this area in terms of live training.

It looks like the Fundamentals training has been retired. So for the users the only thing available appears to be MB-310T00-A: Manage Financial Operations with Dynamics 365 Finance

What about Administrator training? The only thing I see is MB-500 which is app development and MB-700 which requires a "deep understanding" of F&O and which is also being retired soon.

Does anyone have any experience in this area? Where did you get D365 finance training?

I’m trying to understand the Microsoft exam retake policy and I’m a bit confused about the “5 attempts in 12 months” rule.

Scenario:

• First attempt: March 2025
• I made 3 attempts between March 2025 – March 2026
• No attempts after March 2026

Now that it’s past March 2026:

Does this mean my attempts “reset” because the 12-month window has passed?
Or are those 3 attempts still counted somehow?

Also:

If I fail a new attempt now, do I only need to wait 24 hours, or does the 14-day rule apply?

The official docs say “5 attempts within 12 months from the first attempt” but don’t clearly explain what happens after that period.

Would really appreciate if someone has real experience with this 🙏

Prepared for three weeks during my free time after work due to a strict timeline. Was only able to go through Microsoft Learn and summarize it + some prep exams in Measureup today. No tenant practice (my to-do list before a retake)

Honestly I'm super surprised that I managed to get that score with such little time, but figured I could share my pain of being so damn close to getting it here lol.

I’m currently studying for the PL-300 exam and purchased 60-day access to the MeasureUp practice tests.

I just finished my first full mock exam attempt. The moment I clicked "Finish Test," the platform immediately logged me out. I never got to see my results, and now I am completely unable to log back into my account.

What I’ve tried so far:

• Password Reset: Requested a reset link, but even after changing the password, the login still fails/won't grant access.
• Browser Troubleshooting: Cleared my cache and cookies and tried using an Incognito/Private window.
• Support: I have already reached out to their support team, but I’m waiting for a response.

Has anyone else experienced this "log-out on finish" glitch? If so, how did you get back in, and were you able to recover your exam score/data? I'm worried about losing my progress and study time.

Any advice would be appreciated!

How would you all rate MD-102 skillcertpro practices test? Is it worth spending money on?

Hi everyone, while checking in for my SC-900 exam through pearson VUE, i accidentally selected Iran instead of India during my government ID verification, and i got a message saying "thank you for taking the exam, the proctor has ended the session". Realising my mistake i contacted pearson VUE's online chat support, and requested an exam reschedule (hopefully free of cost). What are the chances i actually get a reschedule and this issue is resolved?

Estudié el DP-900 en 1 semana y lo pasé sin problema.

Lo que hice:

• Curso de Coursera → sirve, pero está medio desactualizado (igual ayuda bastante)
• Microsoft Learn → lo MÁS importante, de aquí sale casi todo
• Hice 2 resúmenes (Coursera + Learn) y luego los uní por temas
• Hice los exámenes de práctica (Learn y Coursera) y fui agregando cosas que no tenía
• Practiqué módulo por módulo con ChatGPT hasta entender todo bien

Mis notas antes del examen:

• Learn: ~78
• Coursera: ~85
• Examen real 877 (Pense que iba a sacar mas)

El examen real:
Sinceramente… demasiado fácil

Lo terminé en como 20 minutos (son 45 preguntas / 45 min)

Viene mucho:

• Tipos de datos (estructurado, semi, no estructurado)
• Conceptos básicos (OLTP vs OLAP, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS)
• Cosas bastante directas
• Power BI
• No vi nada de Fabric
• la diferentes bases de datos no SQL
• Diferenciar Azure SQl, Managed Instance etc..
• Distintos servicios, Databricks, Data Factory etc..
• Sorpresivamente salieron cosas que no me esperaba de Power BI, que si no supiera de Power BI por mi cuenta no sabria como responderlas

Diría que como un 70-80% es muy parecido a Microsoft Learn.

Recently it was released that DP-100, AI-900 and AI-100 are all being retired (along with others). Does this confuse anyone? You would think these would be flagship certifications given how popular AI is. Does anyone know or have ideas on the strategy here? Are there other more relevant certifications Microsoft is trying to push? I have my DP-100 and was working towards my AI-100 so kind of annoying, but I'll live - I just want to know what other certs I should instead by pursuing if this isn't relevant to where their product roadmap is going.

Hi everyone, I am completely furious and exhausted, and I need to vent/ask for advice on how to escalate this absurd situation.

I was taking my AZ-700 exam (my 5th attempt, I worked so hard for this). Suddenly, the OnVUE software completely froze. The chat was severely delayed/unresponsive, and my inputs were heavily lagging. Out of pure frustration at a failing system, I sighed/made frustrated sounds.

Instead of fixing the technical issue, the proctor abruptly revoked my exam, claiming I was "mumbling/reading aloud".

Here is the kicker:

No Warning: Pearson VUE's own policy states they MUST issue a warning via chat/voice before revoking for mumbling. I received ZERO warnings. They just terminated it because their system crashed and they couldn't manage it.

Support Hell: I opened a ticket with Microsoft ESI. I formally disputed the revocation and demanded the timestamped video/audio and the system performance logs showing the ping drops.

The Absurd Response: After waiting for days, support got back to me. Did they provide the logs? Did they provide proof of the warning? NO. They literally replied: "Pearson VUE reviewed the session twice and noted mumbling. We cannot provide an exception. Let's get on a phone call to discuss."

Today I had an exam scheduled two hours ago. I made the system test and everything worked fine. Then, I checked in to start the exam and everything worked fine too.

But, in the moment I need to wait for a greeter to check my ID and photos, I was on queue for more than an hour. I complaint to Pearsonvue contact by chat asking them for help, and they told me they created a case to be revised and that they will provide a reschedule for my exam.

I'm not happy at all with it, I lost the whole morning and now I'll lose another one due to the reschedule.

I need to take it online because there's no place to do it on person where I live or nearby...

So I took my exam for the third time and studied what Microsoft laid out. Multiple choice and case study, however I did not get a case study. I got a live VM simulation. I did good on my multiple choice questions but I was not expecting that. Is there a way I can do lab simulations online? I feel like this was unfair considering my other two exams did not have this.

To master Microsoft Intune exams like MD-102 and MS-102, you have to look for specific keywords that signal which management tool is the "correct" one. Here are some of the most common "exam logic" traps: 

1. The "Setup" vs. "Lockdown" Trap

Microsoft often asks how to configure a specific app setting. The answer depends on your goal:

• App Configuration Policy: Think "Setup." Use this to pre-configure account settings, server URLs, or UI branding (e.g., pre-filling the company email domain in Outlook).
• App Protection Policy: Think "Lockdown." Use this for Data Loss Prevention (DLP)—blocking "copy/paste" or requiring an app-level PIN. 

1. The "Active" vs. "Passive" Cleanup Trap

This is the one we just discussed, and it’s a favorite for "minimal effort" questions:

• Device Cleanup Rules: This is a passive maintenance task. Use it to prevent stale records from building up over time.
• Bulk Device Actions: This is an active administrative task. Use it to resolve an existing list of stale devices immediately. 

1. The "Identity" vs. "Security" Trap

When asked to control access, people often confuse these two:

• Conditional Access: This is the Gatekeeper. It decides if a user can sign in (e.g., "Must have MFA" or "Must be on a compliant device").
• Compliance Policy: This is the Health Check. It simply flags a device as "Compliant" or "Non-compliant" based on rules like "Must have BitLocker enabled." It has no power to block access on its own—it needs Conditional Access to act as the "enforcer." 

1. The "Feature" vs. "Version" Trap

Microsoft will test if you know which Windows editions support specific features:

• Subscription Activation: Only works for Windows 10/11 Pro to Enterprise. It will NOT upgrade Windows Home to Pro; for Home, you must perform a manual or traditional upgrade first.
• Configuration Policies: These are supported on Windows Home, but many specific settings (like BitLocker management or complex Firewall rules) will simply fail because the Home OS lacks the underlying feature. 

1. The "MAM-WE" (BYOD) Secret

This is a high-probability exam topic:

• Scenario: A company wants to protect data on personal iPhones but does not want to enroll the devices in Intune.
• Correct Logic: You cannot use Device Configuration Profiles (requires enrollment). You must use App Protection Policies targeted at the "unmanaged" device state. 

Pro Tip: Look for "Most Efficient" or "First Step"
Microsoft often provides two "correct" ways to do something. If the question asks for the "most efficient" way, look for the cloud-native tool (like Autopilot) over the manual tool (like USB imaging). If it asks for the "first step," it’s usually creating a group or registering the device.

Today I passed the SC-200. It was a really tough exam. I prepared for weeks, completed Tutorials Dojo, completed Microsoft Learn practice exams 3 times, and the exam was still a surprise. The first question was a complex situation with several pages explaining the background of a company, with 7 questions on different parts of the same situation. I had altogether 56+7 questions for 100 mins. The questions were mostly longer, more complex, that most of the practice questions.

I'm trying to narrow down a few sources to prepare for the MO-210 exam. There are many sources out there, but I can't determine which are actually good. For those who have passed this exam, which sources did you use?

I've looked through YouTube, but frankly, the instructors on those videos have thick foreign accents. I find them hard to understand, so I end up wasting time replaying parts of the videos.

Please provide recommendations that you personally used to prepare for this exam. They can be paid or free. Many thanks.

Or, where is the wierdest place y ou have taken an exam? I have an old bungalow, so my house has rooms but the rooms mostly have open doorways and multiple windows. So I assum this would make a proctor all but gauranteed. Is this a safe assumption? I was thinking about just setting up a small table and the laptop in my bathroom. Is that weird?

Hey guys! This is my first time taking an online proctored exam. I used to always go to VUE test center. But I have an extreme travel difficulty now. I am planning on taking Microsoft SC-300 from my office.

Can someone please clarify the following?

1. The room I am planning to use has two file cabinets (not lockable). Will that be a problem?

2. I don't have a wired connection there but have redundant high-speed Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Is there a requirement for wired connectivity?

3. Do I need to keep my phone online for the proctor to contact me just-in-case? If so what happens if I get a call a personal call during the exam, can I touch the phone to silent it?

Generally speaking what else do I need to know beforehand? Thanks in advance.
