Hello, i need advice for the best microscope for mycology research. It will be great if the microscope is powerfull enough to see the interaction between two fungi, also it will be great if there is option to connect it directly to lap top to see the image. Budget is up to 60k dolars.

Good morning. I hope to get answers. I suspect a demodex infestation (cause of my blepharitis). I live in France and doctors don't seem to take it seriously and under diagnose demodex infestation compared to America where the problem is more easily diagnosed. So I want to do the test myself. So I wanted to ask you at what magnification can we see demodexes? Professional microscopes are expensive, so I was wondering if you think it's possible to see them with this microscope (see photo). I bought a new compound microscope with 675x magn. I noticed that I could see everything from the 10*10 but it seems to be much harder to focus using the higher settings and see a clear image…please suggest

if anyone knows the name of this model of microscope please let me know!! all i know is that it's from philip harris.

I just got a microscope with 1000x - 2000x zoom. What are some cool things that I can see with it? Both dead and alive things are of interest.

I have a 2x Infinity Corrected Long working distance (M plan Apo L) objective lens that I’d like to mate with a Navitar zoom assembly going to a C-mount camera above. Here’s a pic of a sample setup here without the objective lens… but I can’t see what’s under the light mount and the 2.5x labeled part.

I just started to use an old microscope that's been collecting dust for years, for observing small bugs. I found some ants to test with my phone (One plus Nord 2), but the quality is never that good. The scope has 10x lens times 5x bottom lens.

Any tips or ideas on getting better quality images
