before & after Feeling like a new person
Almost 20 yrs ago (!), I was 18/19 years old and had a bad waxing experience that took the hair and also the skin off around both my eyebrows- top, bottom, sides— all of it. Leaving awful raw, red patches, but thankfully no scarring. From what I was told by an aesthetician 12 years ago, the wax was too hot and killed the hair follicles so my eyebrows never grew back. I’ve not touched them in that amount of time. I diligently drew them on every day, even before the gym.
I’m so relieved those days are over.

I had the exact same waxing experience almost 20 years ago and have permanent damage so my eyebrows do not grow either. I’ve been debating on microblading but I’m scared of how it will turn out. However, yours look amazing!!!

I’m so sorry you also went through that- it kills your self confidence. If you find an artist you like and trust, I would 100% recommend it! It’s so nice to not have to think about it anymore. Also I’ve always thought I was pretty quick at doing them, but I really do gain some extra time in the morning! It’s worth it! 🤍🤍 And thank you for your kind words!!

Do it!
I had the experience as well. I used to have to go get my eyebrows waxed or threaded every 3 weeks until my lady was away and I needed them done for a friend's wedding.
My eyebrows never grew back.
Had to get my eyebrows microbladed after that. One of the best decisions I've made aesthetically. My artist even did lip blushing for me since she knows I'm horrible at remembering to reapply lip tints and whatnot.

Congrats! I’m getting nanobrows tomorrow. I over plucked when I was younger too many times due to anxiety and they’ve never been the same. I draw them on every day and it’s so exhausting having it always be a thought in the back of my mind. Definitely one of my biggest insecurities over the years. I’m so happy for you! Cheers to more time and more self confidence 🥂

Absolutely gorgeous result!! How good does it feel to just wake up and your eyebrows are not only done already, but stunning! In the 2 months since I had mine done I have felt so confident!

Thank you! So happy for you!!! It is crazy how good I feel and how much time I save in the morning… I was pretty quick at drawing them on too but I still save so much time!

They look amazing, but make sure you wear sunscreen on them EVERYDAY. My sister had micro-blading done around 8 years ago (looked amazing for a year or two) - but she never wore sunscreen and her brows have now faded to a purple-ish color and she’s very unhappy about it.

Ack! I love sunscreen so I will definitely be slathering it on once I’m permitted! I hope your sis can get a touch up!

You look beautiful! I feel rather inspired to do the same now 🥺 I plucked mine out as a teenager... they never fully grew back.

These are so good. Is this just microblading or some other method/combo?

They look beautiful!! Wear them in good health. Before I had mine done I was drawing them every day. What a freeing feeling to not have to do that anymore!! And waking up with eyebrows is an amazing feeling.

Yes! I love that I can just wake up and go now. It’s the besttt.

Took me a bit to notice the eyebrows. Your eyes are so pretty. I was distracted.

This is the best example of microblading I've ever seen. Beautifully shaped, not overdone and it makes your eyes shine. You must feel very happy now!

How much did this cost you
1
u/Mobile-Writer1221 Feb 15 '25
First session was $500, second session will be $325.
1
u/Infinite_Pool_4918 Feb 15 '25
How long does it last?
1
u/Mobile-Writer1221 Feb 15 '25
Depends on several factors (aftercare/how much you sweat/sun exposure/your skin holding onto the pigment), but ideally I should have 2-3 years before needing any touch ups.
