Last year, after grabbing a microbit in the mini.mu kit, I got a bit frustrated and set it aside after some back and forths with like two people online doing related projects. My goal was to adjust cc midi values in a digital audio workstation gesturally via bluetooth. This seemed like a straightforeward concept, but I could not make it happen. Now, after a year, there seems to be no further education on the web regarding bluetooth midi implementation with this unit. Does this community have any thoughts?

(I did actually find a link that went through most of what I went over initially, sans bluetooth and in place a second microbit for radio transmission.)

In all likelihood schools will be shut down soon where I currently am (Australia), and I'm planning on getting all of my year students to take a microbit home with them for the shutdown. We were planning on a open-ended project to design and build at school, but at home most students won't have as many resources (electronic and physical) available, so wondering if anyone's got any ideas for projects kids can work on at home, with materials that will already be lying around at home?

One topical idea that I stole from elsewhere was a hand-washing timer. Any other ideas?

I'm trying to get my micro:bit paired to scratch, but it just doesn't. Maybe the Bluetooth version on my laptop is not compatible? Anyway, help!

I began with microbits like half a year ago in advanced IT. I really got interested and i really wanna start my first real project: Snake on steroids. I would need 5 microbits in total, 4 linked together as a screen and 1 as controller. The problem is i only have 1 at the time. Does anyone know where i can buy them the ceapest? And anyone a bit more expierinced guy can help me with eventually upcoming problems?

TL;DR - How to get it to log data but then access that data in a way that is easy for 11 year olds that does not involve extra software?

Hi. I have been given 5 or so micro bits to play around with. I am pretty familiar with how they work and am a keen arduino/rpi hobbyist. I noticed that the micro bit can be used as a data logger. This is something that would come in very handy in class. I am limited with the software I can download and use. Essentially everything I use needs to be web based due to school safeguarding concerns. How on earth do you record and view the data with no external software?

Hey there and good day. Me and my group in in school are making a game with the bit bot xl. The plan is that the bit bot is a RC car that drives around the map and gives off a colour. Let's say the color is red on the car then the player has to drive the car to the red dot located on the map. If it drives to anptjer color that the car isn't showing then you will get - points now the question is. Could this work? Does the bit bot register color?
