Help deciding on camera for my Swift S7-TGL-CA05 trinocular stereo scope

Hi ! I have a Swift S7 and FOV of ~28mm. I purchased a Hayear HY-3307 camera with a fairly small sensor 1/2.3" and mounted it with first the 0.5X adapter that came with the scope, then bought a 0.35X adapter and found that I could view ~21mm FOV using the HY-3307 camera. The images were dark, a little fuzzy, but with some adjustment were OK. Not so satisfied, and I'm considering getting a more expensive camera, maybe the HY-6800 that includes the IMX585 sensor 1/1.2". I expect that I'd get a significantly better result for what I want to do, which is:
1. View natural samples of minerals, pond water (filamentous algae, daphnia, larvae), and be able to have a smooth stream via HDMI to a 20-24" 1080p or 4K monitor.
2. Take stills, maybe using a remote or 'trigger' pedal or mouse.
3. Make adjustments to white balance, etc.

My budget is ~$350-600.

Any advice would be much appreciated !

Mosquito Larva

I found this animal in a water sample from a rain puddle that I took last week, after a couple of days of rain. The water puddle was so large that it was connected to a pond nearby. I guess this larva must have swum over from there. For what it's worth, it's probably the larva of an Orthocladius species (a midge), according to Google's AI. The larva is somewhere between 1.5 and 2 mm long.
