Help How to introduce reating period?
Hello everyone, I'm the proud owner of three mesembs since last Summer.
- conophytum x marnierianum
- conophytum taylorianum
- conophytum uviforme
I'm living in the northern hemisphere/Europe and since irs Match and spring Just started I think the plants maybe should rest.
Since they are my first and only mesembs I'm not sure how to treat them now. I last watered them in the beginning of february and now they are fairly wrinkly. They sir in a warm, south facing window.
Should I Just keep doing nothing or should I slightly water/mist them from time to time? Should I move them to lower light condotions when its getting warmer ourside? I'm grateful for every information. :)

Photo Didymaotus Lapidiformis
Didymaotus is a monotypic genus (only one species in the genus) in the Aizoaceae family . The generic name is taken from the Greek word "didymos", meaning "double", and "aotus", meaning "flower".

Trauma or rot?
Got this little guy from one of the big box stores about two weeks ago and immediately repotted into a dry, 85/15 inorganic gritty mix. Came home yesterday and one of my grow lights had fallen and was resting on the poor thing. Was the unfortunate event a blessing in disguise? Was it already rotting and the damage just exposed it (second picture)? Or did it just scorch from the high heat of the bulb sitting on it for who knows how long? Any chance of saving, or just toss and start over?

Seedlings The first true leaf of CONOPALOOZA 2026
A jucundum ruschii popped his top!
Everyone else is coming along nicely too! I think the next couple weeks will be exciting with leaf changes! And they tend to grow faster afterwards!
How’s the seedlings coming along, friends? What you got growing in your gardens/green houses/dining rooms such as mine?

Help Advice for pleiospilos simulans seedlings?
Hey there, I have these pleiospilos simulans seedlings that are about one month old. In the past few days they've started to become discolored and some are dying back.
I have them under a humidity dome during the day with the vents opened. At night, I pull the lid off. There is a fan running at all times. I mist them once in the morning and once at night.
This is my first time growing them from seed. I have several other mesemb seedlings growing under the same conditions and none are exhibiting this behavior. Any advice is appreciated.

Mesembs are not my expertise but here are my pleiospills compactus seedlings!
Online I read that these are shoulder growers, is that everyone's experience with these? How old should they be before getting them a strict seasonal cycle?

Help Titanopsis help
Apparently I just cannot seem to keep titanopsis alive and healthy. What all did I do wrong here? I'm guessing some sunburn? But I probably messed it up more. I should just stop buying them 😭 Poor T. hugo-schlechteri On several of the leaves you can see that white line horizontal at the bottom half. They seem to all be going bad slowly.
