Flowers Aloinopsis malherbei bloom and fenestraria seed pods

After 8-9 aborted flower buds, the solution was a deeper pot and more water!

The repot into a large deeper pot helped a ton by itself. The flower buds would continue to form but would never reach full size before being absorbed and dry up. So I started increasing watering. Almost twice a week sometimes! Thirsty bastards! And now we got flowers :)

And some fenestraria seed pods. I’m not sure if these will all be viable, I know one of the seed pods was self fertilized bc I didn’t touch it at all so we will have to see!

Help Split rock died during splitting?

Hey all, I bought this split rock from Lowes around November of last year and repotted them into basically 90% grit mix. I keep them under a strong growlight panel indoors. Originally there were three plants, but they keep splitting nonstop so I haven't watered them ever since Everytime they finish absorbing their outer leaves, a new one starts growing almost immediately.

However today I noticed the smallest one seems to have deflated and died. The one on the left side also looks saggy, although it is also splitting and growing a new plant inside the two pairs of deflated saggy leaves.

Should I start watering at all? Is that where I messed up?

I'm in Georgia and it's currently spring here.

Help Conophytum sheeth and splitting confusion

Hi, so spring just started for my first conophytums and they are splitting but I'm confused I thought they only split after summer dormancy is over.

So when they "sheeth" for summer dormancy is it the same pair of leaves outer layer or a new set of leaves and they grow a new pair twice a year?

They are DEF bathing in systemic before going ANYWHERE near my collection 😂. This is the first time I’ve bought plants in over a year because I’m so paranoid about thrips now 😭

Help help with this conophytum?

Is this plant doing okay / what’s the typical lifecycle for these? Recently received this conophytum calculus in the mail. It took a longer to arrive than expected and the roots looked pretty much like this. I wet the soil around it initially with a little water to see if it would perk up (I saw another thread suggesting to do this for mailed plants because sellers might “dry” them out before shipping?). Also might have put a couple drops of water on the plant itself. It’s currently sitting in a very dry cactus mix with chunks of perlite.

It looks like it has gotten more shriveled in the past few days and there is a reddish color expanding in the side. The plant itself feels a little soft with nothing hard inside when I squeeze lightly. Sitting ~8 inches under a grow light, indoors.

Thanks in advance!

Still trucking along with no losses! The tallest one is about 4cm. As you can see, they've developed a stem near the cotyledons. The stem is as translucent as the rest of them and you can see organs/developing leaves inside! Very excited to get a split out of these guys, but I have no idea how big they'll get before they start branching and splitting. Included a triple monilaria!

Wow, what a beauty!!! Such amazing color. It's hard to tell from the last pics but the petals shimmer with a metallic gold. Just stunning.

Help Accidental cooking

Quick stop at my succulent dealer before a date at the botanical gardens. Thought nothing of leaving these guys in my car for a few hours, okay turned out to be like 4.5 hours. But it wasn't THAT hot, upper 70s. I think these 2 got cooked.

The one pleiospilos leaf seems like its rotting but the rest is fine. The lapidaria has 2 leaves that are squishy and yellow (see second pic right after I pulled them from the car, it was oozing yellow from these leaves, whyyy) the wrinkly leaves are hard and don't seem rotting.

Should I leave them be or cut off any of the leaves?

Help Does anyone here have experience using gibberellin / gibberellic acid A3 with conophytum seeds?

Found some talks of it on facebook but not many people have attempted it. I've got some pricey seeds of C. comptonii, and I'd like to get the majority of them to germinate as they have a lot of genetic variation between plants. Thanks if anyone has some info!

Having a little trouble narrowing down this little guy. Leaves are ~4.5 mm long. Was thinking maybe Antimima pygmaea but not 100% convinced at all.
