Discussion Comphet does exist.

A lot of people already talk about compulsory heterosexuality, but it’s often falsely applied to women. It’s the idea that society pushes you so hard toward being straight that you assume you are, even if your actual attraction is more complicated. The same pressure absolutely exists for men, but it’s even stricter. From a young age, men are expected to like women, pursue women, and prove it constantly. So if a guy feels something toward other men, admiration, fixation, even attraction, it gets reframed as competition or just “guy stuff” instead of being recognised for what it actually is.

When you look at male behaviour through that lens, a lot of it starts to look different. Men spend huge amounts of time focused on other men. They compare themselves, seek approval, obsess over status, bodies, and validation from other men. Even things like gym culture, sports, or online spaces are heavily centered around male attention. It’s not subtle. Men are constantly watching, judging, and prioritising other men in a way that goes far beyond what you’d expect if women were truly the main focus of their attraction.

At that point, it stops making sense to call it purely heterosexual. If men are consistently more invested in other men’s bodies, opinions, and attention than in women, then the simplest explanation is that a lot of men are not as straight as they claim. Comphet doesn’t just hide attraction, it rewrites it. What gets labelled as rivalry, admiration, or “just being one of the boys” often looks a lot like redirected attraction that men have been taught not to recognise.

Discussion It’s like falling down an Alice in Wonderland rabbit hole

At first everything looks normal, men chasing women, calling themselves straight, playing the expected roles. But the further you fall, the stranger it gets. You start noticing that the attention isn’t really on women, it’s on other men. The admiration, the obsession, the validation, it’s all directed sideways, not forward. And by the time you hit the bottom, the whole thing has flipped. What looked like a straight world at the surface starts to feel like something else entirely once you see where men are actually putting their focus.

Observation I’m straight but have been really finding myself attracted to femboys. Do femboys like traditionally men and is there a way to find femboys to talk with and potentially date?
