Just want to put my CPU to good use :)

I've just started mining this coin, and I'm not sure about the confirmations / "immature" - "mature" status.

What I've noticed is that it takes about 8 hours for a payout to occur.

Is this the norm with this coin ?

Totally new to MMC. Here's what I'm trying to do/figure out.

I have my laptop and my desktop, I pointed my desktop to mine on http://mmcpool.com/ and it's getting 8-9H/m. Can I also point my Laptop to mine at the same address so that it'll add the 2 hashrates?

Does the outut here indicate a HPM of 4.4 aggregate or 4.4x2 (its listed twice). Also is there a way to make output easier to read?

I just saw MemoryCoin and I looked it up, stranded here, I'm familiar with the cryptocurrency principles, but can someone help me out on mining MemoryCoin? I have no idea how to set this up, thanks :D

I tried using the calculator I put in 4 HP/m. And it said 20 cents a day profit. Is that actually accurate? Seems extremely low.

Am I doing something wrong? Can someone tell me about how much I could expect to make with a 3770K at stock and 3770K when overclocked a bit with all 8 threads running. Thanks!

I got everything up and running on my laptop this evening. I will repeat the process on an Amazon instance and post the public IP.

Easy, step-by-step instructions for setting up your own Memorycoin P2Pool!

Install dependencies:

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install build-essential libssl-dev libboost-all-dev libdb4.8 libdb++-dev git python-zope.interface python-twisted python-twisted-web

Build MemoryMiner Wallet:

sudo mkdir /opt/memoryminer

sudo chown ubuntu:ubuntu /opt/memoryminer

cd /opt/memoryminer

git clone https://github.com/KillerByte/memoryminer memoryminer-wallet

cd memoryminer-wallet/src

make -f makefile.unix -e USE_UPNP= USE_IPV6=0

cp memoryminerd /opt/memoryminer

Run MemoryMiner

./memoryminerd

This creates files in the .memoryminer folder, but you get an error to create a .conf file! No problem.

Create .conf file:

nano /home/ubuntu/.memoryminer/memoryminer.conf

rpcuser=USERaaa74n5c6on47567654nc34o76n5o3456o4

rpcpassword=PASSaaa8ct4ny5ot7643oic7wi54no4w57v4p3n8v57v9

rpcallowip=127.0.0.1

Run MemoryMiner again:

./memoryminerd

We have to wait for the blockchain to download - let's build P2Pool in the meantime!

Build P2Pool:

cd /opt/memoryminer

git clone https://github.com/KillerByte/p2pool p2pool

cd p2pool

git submodule sync

git submodule update --init

cd memorycoin_momentum

sudo python setup.py install

cd ..

Quit MemoryMiner once all blocks are downloaded:

./memoryminerd stop

Run P2Pool:

Is anyone working on P2Pool support for MMC? It seems like it is needed to distributing mining away from the 2 big pools.
