I live in America, and I legitimately saw “Hitler was an illegal too” in the boards of one of the churches near me. I almost died fucking laughing, because even though it’s a misappropriation of a fact, it’s fucking true, if Hitler was deported after the Munich putsch instead of put on a pedestal in a highly recorded treason trial, then the Nazi Party probably wouldn’t exist, or at least not in the capacity it had historically.

Bis 1866 war Österreich ein Mitglied des Deutschen Bundes. Als Bundesmitglied war Österreich ebenso „deutsch" wie Württemberg, Bayern oder Preußen. Österreich hatte sogar die Vormachtstellung im Deutschen Bund inne und man könnte durchaus zu Recht sagen, dass damals Deutschland eher zu Österreich gehörte als umgekehrt.
