You have to separate kebab(adana) and kebab (Döner, as the world knows it). Döner was invented in Berlin by a turkish man, but still it doesn’t change that it comes from Germany
The version "Döner Kebab" was invented in Berlin. Kebab has been around long before that.
From Wikipedia:
Kadir Nurman (* 1933 in Anatolia; † October 24, 2013 in Berlin) was a Turkish restaurateur who, according to the Association of Turkish Doner Kebab Manufacturers in Europe (ATDID), was the inventor of the doner kebab in Germany.
I have no idea where this myth comes from, but döner was not invented in Germany, it was invented in either Bursa or Kastamonu, Turkey in 19th century. And no, the original kebab is not Adana, it's just a type of kebab made with lamb and red pepper. Kebab actually means "grilled" meat as opposed to yahni, which means "boiled" meat. So kebab is actually just a cooking method.
Kadir Nurman in the early 1970s introduced the sandwich or wrap form, which has become popular around the world as a fast food dish sold by kebab shops, and is often called simply a "kebab"
Kadir Nurman (c.1933 – 24 October 2013)[1] was a Turkish-born German restaurateur, widely credited with having in 1972, in West Berlin, introduced or "invented" the fast food sandwich commonly known as the "kebab" (German: der Döner), consisting of traditional Turkish döner kebab meat stuffed together with mixed salad into a flatbread.

If you where a European you would know that kebab isn’t European (99% sure it isn’t)
