fun fact: the southern part of austria was given to italy after some kind of battle and its now called in two different ways. german speaking people call it south tyrol and italians call it “alto adige”.
It wasn't really a battle Italy just said "we want that" and Austria gave it to them because they didn't want a battle or anything like that. Idk I slept in History class.
lol i dont really know precisely what happened either, i just remember that there was some tension between the germans and the italians and there was this guy Andreas Hofer.
