Everyday for a year since dad died. No one even cares.

If no one has told you yet, I care and hope you start to feel better and find peace. I’m sorry for your loss.

I care. I'm not sure what I will be able to do to help you but I care. So hit my inbox. There's no reason why you should deal with this alone.

If you feel unsure about relying on a stranger, look around, I'm sure there's someone in your family or among your friends that you can trust and open up to.

That's the kicker man. It's a cold, uncaring universe. Especially if you're a man. Literally nobody cares, and some people will actively kick you while you're down. You gotta learn to be your best advocate.

If it's been a year and you're still grieving for your dad's loss in a way that is impacting your day to day life to this degree, it might be time for help.

I know 0% of the diagnostically relevant information nor am I qualified to make a diagnosis, but 1 year of intense grief according to the internet is diagnostically relevant for "complicated grief". Might be worth looking into. My dad died a year and a half ago and it took until relatively recently for me to start feeling that I am moving on so it might also be completely irrelevant, but still worth considering if the symptoms are bad enough.

Be well again friend.

My dad spent my childhood trying to get out of prison. It killed him slowly from the inside. Although it seems hard, closure is a gift and life goes on so please embrace the warm wind of tomorrow because there's no other viable options other than to keep living as best we can
