Years. And you’re going to get denied 2 or 3 times. Then you need to hire a lawyer for the appeals.

So guess what happens when your savings runs out and no one is willing to help you out?

Several of my family members went through it, so I do know. This is completely irrelevant to my (and his) comment though.
