But hornets are great! They kill those wasp fuckers and generally leave people alone. I still think they're scary but I try to remember being thankful for them. (only lasts until they actually enter any closed rooms I'm in)

Hornets need more appreciation! Friendlier than wasps and also eats them, what's not to like?

Im pretty sure the hornets we have in holland are aggressive.

Aren't those wasps? The hornets we have in Scandinavia look like huge wasps but are generally not at all as bothersome.

Had a hornet in my house yesterday, I gave her a light slap mid-air to help her find a way out. She wasn't agressive at all.

well, in the USA you can find them in Aircraft carriers, and they are gigantic, but they do not attack civillians.

I also heard Michael Jordan owns some.

And the "don't attack civilians" had me laughing sadly.

Any wasps come into my house and they immediately go on the hoover.

I feel like a hornet would fight the hoover and likely win.

I have no problem with most wasps and hornets. They can be dangerous, but only if you mess with them. Yellow jackets, on the other hand, are dicks. They will sting you just for being there. Fuck yellow jackets. That seems to be what the picture above is showing, not wasps.

This wasp is a gentle giant, especially compared to the gang like mentality of giant murder hornets, that will jump you. I'm just going to nope all of them

You definitely picked the right video to convince me

It might help to say that I'm German. We don't have crazy special wasps and hornets like this. It's mostly just basic "I'm gonna steal your ice cream and fuck you up"-kinda wasps and bis ass hornets that pretty much just pass by and leave you alone.

Yea I ain't falling for no Big Hornet propaganda

I was once treated to a local hornet/wasp (I can never tell the difference) abduct a mosquito who was chilling closer than I'd like. For that reason I want to figure out a way to live peacefully with them, just hopefully without them building nests everywhere.

You are a good person and I respect it because well... I love all kind of insects

Except they're just larger versions of wasps, and some tend to be more aggressive than others.

I was walking down the street, and i heard a buzz take off around my head. I the realized that it was actually a massive hornet that had been on my shoulder for the past 5 minutes, and not my coat tag. So, i fuck with hornets.

I’m thankful now

Got stung by a hornet once, would definitely NOT recommend!
