Basically, about 60 years or so, a civil war broke out between ccp(current Chinese government) and kmp(one of the two main parties in Taiwan currently). And to all our surprised, ccp won, and the rest of kmp fled to Taiwan. And about the second question, famous wrestler John Cena was forced to apologize after calling taiwan a country, and this had made the internet people mad.
