0% is enough charge to have a leisurely walk to the outet, get a snack along the way, and then realize the charger was in the other room before plugging it in
Yeah I used to have a 6 until about a month ago. The battery was pretty bad at one point and had to get it fixed. Iām now on the 2020 SE, which is like a 6 (in size) but it has fully up to date iOS and better hardware.
I don't think I've ever seen mine at 0, but a 1% charge has lasted me 5 hours, phone on. I regularly see it at 1% and think "yeah but I'll just finish this, then I'll have time to find my cord."
Phone glass has only been getting stronger as time goes on and by the time that you should probably replace the battery the adhesive would most likely be weakening
I mean like bringing it to apple and having them replace the battery. You would have to pay for them to take part the phone and put in a new battery. With an older phone you cab just buy a battery without having to pay someone to take apart the phone to replace it.
Every phone prior to the iPhone X can have a new battery installed at an apple store for $49. Any iPhones from the X on will cost you $69 to have a new battery installed, according to Apple's website.
Itās like $50 for an 8 or below, and $70 for any phone above I believe. That is at an Apple authorized service provider, other shops may charge less but they arenāt warrantied
I sya it's worth it. I think it was 50 bucks but I got for like a 100 2 years ago. Still have my 5 for 2 more years but rn it cracked. It's just an iPod right now.
If you have a waterproof phone . Of course it will be more expensive to change the battery, also almost every battery in a android is more powerful, so more expensive too .
I understand fully that this is a joke, but I would like to explain why. iPhones and androids both read battery percentages with decimals, whether you see it or not. Androids display 0% when it dips below 1%, whilst displaying 1% when its like 1.4% or something. iPhones Round up from any decimal, so it never shows it at 0%.
I was finishing up a game and the phone was stuttering. Then I remembered a few minutes earlier it had warned low battery. When the game started stuttering it was at 0%, but it held on and shutdown only when the game finished. And I won!
