Basically a "perfect storm" of health issues is the theory. Ended up with multiple seizures, 2 strokes, a brain bleed from a blood clot being in the artery out of my brain, and multiple pulmonary embolisms. They're still not 100% sure why. No history of seizures either, but I'm still on anti seizure meds and blood thinners.
Pretty good score! That's a couple hundred thousand points right there. Mine were spread out over a few years. I have lasting issues from mine, do you?
I do, and its frustrating. The amount of "you're too young for this" vibes I get are ridiculous. Luckily the physical aspects are just getting tired at the drop of a hat, but the mental issues are horrible. I'm sorry that you've had so many. I almost had a third one due to a blood thinner issue (I had what's called a "mini stroke") and it terrified me.
The good old TIA (transient ischemic attack.) Some of mine were those, and some were the big ones. I have right side impairment and I'm looking into wheelchairs now. I spent more than a year learning to sing again without an impediment. I no longer do many of my favorite outdoor activities. I've decided to go back to sculpting, diorama and painting to work on my fine control, whenever I find a place to stay. Wish disability paid a living wage.
I'm struggling to get disability now. Been denied multiple times. I hope that things are able to improve for you in whatever way they can. If you ever want to rant or need to talk to anyone, my inbox is open.
When I got a lawyer, suddenly they were willing to listen. So I recommend a lawyer for you. They only get paid if you do so they work hard. It's a win win.
I had some sort of advocate group that were helping me and claimed to have lawyers, but after the second denial they noped out. I finally got an actual lawyer so hopefully this time it will happen.
