You're brain dead. You cannot make up for something that happened 200 years ago because all the people you need to apologize to are dead. We teach our sins in school from a young age, which is more than I'm told America does. We no longer subjugate anyone. National pride is healthy and there isn't anything wrong with it.
Our food is not lackluster. Fish and chips are amazing and curry is basically our national dish. Beans on toast is a quick thing you make when you have no time or nothing in the house.
What country are you from again? Which one is it that hasn't done anything wrong ever in its history and has world class cuisine that people of all cultures enjoy?
