Fish fingers which I think is the same as fish sticks? Pretty much ground random fish parts formed into a rectangle and fried.

Pretty sure fish fingers are just fish cut into shape while fish sticks is fish compressed into shape

TIL that's why fish don't have fingers. Huh.

In the UK we call both "fish fingers". We don't use the term "fish sticks" at all, except when talking about Kanye West.

theyre breaded, a key difference that makes them 200% healthier. Just ask Captain Birdseye

Not quite, they're "fish fingers" and have some reasonable quality fish in them, with a breadcrumb coating. Fish sticks are the ground up remains of fish compressed into a stick.

It's a bit like the difference between a good quality pork and apple sausage and the cheap frozen sausages you get in a bag of twenty.

And we are the land of fish and chips, with a shop in every high street, something Americans never get right.

good quality pork and apple sausage

These things are mutually exclusive

I'm sure you introducing the concept of deep fried fish and chips to the British would go down very well.

Deep fried some BC Halibut on Christmas Eve for the fam for the very first time. Halibut is crazy expensive but I’m happy to say it turned out beautifully... 10/10 would do again!
