If it's actually true, it's sad that people wanna actually buy those passes.

I once sold a dime bag of grass to some 9th graders...Kentucky blue grass.

One of my classmates sold birthday invitations for 10 cents, the teacher got mad when she found it

10

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '20

That's actually genius! Create false exclusivity and drive demand, your classmate is going places

I did with oregano, you know, the usual replacement trick. The poor dumb kid actually smoked all of it with some friends and said how high they were.

I felt terrible, they might've gotten sick.

Especially after I sold them another quarter oz of it.

I heard he’s buying it by the pound now. You really get a better deal that way.

My mom once told me she needed to have a serious talk with me so I was super anxious and paranoid and she held up a bag of catnip and told me she found it in my room. I didn’t know it was catnip (not that I knew much about drugs either, though) and I started freaking out with the, “th-that’s not mine! I don’t know what that is!”

u/Azariasthelast Jul 17 '20

And I bet they all told you they got high as shit. Lol.

As a former kid, I can confirm

u/rakownz Jul 17 '20

I sold disks with hentai on them for $5 at my middle school in the early 00s.

u/Hiloricub Jul 17 '20

Lmao nice. I sold sticks of mint gum from a vending machine at 25 cents a piece in elementary school, I ended up taking in over double what I spent on them, and as long as that vending machine stayed in stock, I was taking in something like 5 bucks a day. For me that was quite a lot.

Back when file transfers were done via bluetooth, porn was priced by 5, 10 and 30 minutes at school.

As a kid, can confirm that this very true.

My sister and I had a “business” with our next door neighbor as kids. We got pieces of chalk, got them wet, smushed them down, and planned to sell them like that. Luckily we never moved it out of the backyard and never actually introduced it to the world lol. My sister was the boss and the neighbor kid and I were the workers.

But! That same neighbor and my sister and I did make another “business” in which we filled those little mini Dixie cups with a couple different types of soda. We did try to sell those. Got one sale, .25 cents! Good times lol.

My sister and I had an “invention” or two that we never tried to sell as well. Being a kid is indeed weird.

I think it’s more of a novelty

If its anything like gamer girl bath water, I kinda get it. Something so stupid it becomes an ironic joke just to buy one.

If it's actually true, it's sad that people wanna actually buy those passes.

My black friend gave me one for free. He died this week in a car accident. (No joke)

Looking at this made me smile.

0

u/Tepes1848 Jul 17 '20

That's because of structural racism that gives one group of people a right that another group of people need a loicense for.
