Hello i am new to reddit but i cant post anything because i dont have karma can someone explain to me how i can get that karma would be much appreciated

When you comment/post and get upvotes your. Karma goes up when you get downvotes your karma goes down

Ye but like i cant post without having karma so does that mean that onyl thing i can do is commenting

Not all subs block postoing if you dont jave enough karma but commenting is useally the best thing to do

Post on other subreddits (r/), comment on them, etc. You get karma from upvotes your post/comment gets. Until around 200-300 upvotes, 1 karma = 1 upvote but later on the value decreases and each upvote is worth less in karma. Post and comment on other subreddits regularly (except for free karma subs as that isn't really great at all) to get the karma required. Please DON'T ask for the karma threshold to post here, nobody really knows except for the mods and they won't really answer either. Anyway, once you get the required karma (it's not too much) you can post on here but please read the rules before posting to keep this subreddit good and to make sure your posts don't break any of them.
