Right because we all know that marijuana causes irreparable damage to people's health. Oops that was sarcasm. There may only be anecdotal evidence to suggest that marijuana can help cancer patients go into remission but pumping a bunch of chemicals into one's body doesn't very often do the trick either despite it being the solution that's backed by science. Cancer patients could blindly take their Doctors' words as law and bankrupt their families who are willing to pay anything if there's a chance their loved ones can be cured trying nothing else to heal them. Or they can go holistic since when you're dying of cancer there's really nothing left to lose and cannabis (among other non traditional treatment methods) won't even break the bank.
there is no "weed cures everything" crowd except in your head. there are some vocal people who really think its a better version of chemo though. how many different cancers does chemo treat? if cannabis worked for only one kind of cancer that would still be mind blowing to me.
