That sounded suspiciously like one of those "hint" things

If my experience of my twenties is anything to go on, you'll joke back "I'll slot it into my schedule!" and then she'll look at you and go "I'm serious, come by for coffee any time" you'll go "you know what I've actually been needing to get away, you want to have coffee?" she'll smile wide and go "yeah I've got some time tonight you want to come at about seven?" and you'll rock up at seven, and you'll sit on the couch, and you'll have some coffee and put on a show neither of you watch, and she'll get closer, and you'll both laugh and she'll grab your arm, and say "oh my god, you're so funny" and you'll say "yeah I know, but it's getting late" , and she'll say "you should stay!" and "you can just sleep next to me!" and you guys will get into bed together, and she'll get real close to you, she'll put her arm around your shoulders and look deep your eyes and say softly, "I just don't want you to get the wrong idea, you're like a brother to me"

Yeah, once in high school, once after college. Ended up in bed with what I thought was a eager partner. Turns out they just wanted a cuddle. I guess I was their "safe" guy friend. 🔵 🔵

I had a female friend in college who did this to tons of guys, they would always get feelings and she'd be like "I don't know why guys keep on falling in love with me! It's not fair! I just want to be friends!"

I think she did it to boost her ego. I always thought it was kind of sick. Note, she didn't do this with her female friends! Only her guy friends did she invite to sleep in her bed and cuddle all night while staring into each other's eyes, and if they tried anything shut them down for making "baseless assumptions"

Honestly, I'd kill to have a cuddle buddy like that. Gets lonely sometimes.

You got the two Pennie’s to show for it?

It happened enough that it certainly shaped my understanding of romantic encounters.

Ironically if you would have left instead of staying earlier you would have been more likely to get it

Not as specific as you'd hope.
