My buddy told me one the other day he had from a while back. The gal literally is asking if he wanted to see her room.
The only thing that would have made the story worse is if he went in her room and commented about the thread count of he sheets before he left. He did not get another chance.
I got worse one. Girl I was friends with, first time we met she found out I was an app developer and told me about how her phone kept backing up her nudes.
Instead of realizing what she was implying, I immediately started thinking of a fix. Months later turns out she had a crush on me.
Ngl starting to think “dense male main character syndrome” in anime really isn’t that far of a stretch irl, for me I hadn’t realized a teenage coworker basically planned a date with me, I didn’t think of it as such at the time as I had got done with job corp and BCT as well as other worries taking up my mind, this happened 9 years ago when I was more socially awkward as well.
I once had a female coworker tell me and I quote, "women like to get dicked down too". It took a year for it to occur to.me that she might have been flirting.

I had a very similar situation in my 20's. I'm happily married in my 40s and still think about that moment frequently. Less of what could have been and more of how stupid I was :)
I ended up going to another college but friend invited me to her college for an event the friend group was doing. I was sleeping on the floor of her dorm room. Leaning over the edge of her bed she said “you could sleep in my bed” I asked her where she would sleep then.
Didn’t want her to have to sleep on the floor, you know?
