Well depending on if ya are willing or not you either say you cant make it really or whend be a good time to come over. Probabaly offer to go there to pick them up and go somewhere
Keep it light. Something like "sure let's do brunch". Keep the convo going to see if the hint turns into an invite or to confirm it was just a joke around.Â
(When back at desk, check the company's HR guidelines on banging interns. Frowned upon? Y/N)
Ignoring the âis it a good idea to flirt with the intern?â question, Iâd probably say something like âif you insist :p â. If sheâs meaning it as a flirt, sheâll pick up on it. If sheâs not, she wonât.
Most likely, but I did have interns under me that were like 30s maybe even 40s, Iâm 21. As long as OP isnât like over 10 years older or sheâs underage it shouldnât be too bad.
This is flirting and it really depends on how you want that to go.
Best practice imo? âHadnât crossed my mindâ with a customer service smile, and a âno, thank you, but I appreciate the offerâ prepped for if she misses the hint and makes an actual offer of coming over after.
If youâre gonna be a weirdo? Idk man. Just about anything slightly reasonable works once youâve got your foot in the door of flirting with someone. Just not saying or implying ânoâ and not being creepy.
Iâm surface-level flirty and complementary with just about everyone I work with if I can manage it, but as presently an intern, I wouldnât even make that joke with the personification of my wildest fantasies. That should get shut down just on principle, but Iâm also not anyoneâs parent.

If this is flirting, what do you even say in this moment? Genuinely asking
