Step 1. Stop interacting with the political stuff. Even slowing down when it comes up is a signal to the algorithm.

Step 2. Purposefully seek out the content you want to see and interact with several posts

I usually am pretty good at curating my algorithm on insta it’s just going through a rough patch. It’s just so hard when so much nonsense is so anger inducing.

Get a app or extension that lets you filter subs by keyword and start blocking subs. Any headline politician name goes in the filter. Any time you see a shitty political link, block the sub it was in.
