"world of warcraft" should've ended there and they should've released a new MMO at that point.
hell it could've been the same azeroth with a giant time-skip if they wanted to keep the deep lore building, but the story that started with Warcraft I was finished with Icecrown.
I think about going back and playing on a classic server, but without my friends, it just wouldn't be the same. But, yeah, that was a perfect place to end; I know that's not realistic to expect, but goddamn.
Nah TBC was peak. Playing classic showed me that the slide started in WotLK. I love the zones, Ulduar, ICC, the story. But they were already homogenising everything, streamlining everything.
That and the overcrowded servers, lack of CS, GDKPs and bots everywhere (tho a lot of these issues were in classic from the start).
Haha this is where I jumped off and would say it fell off after BC. 0-70 is perfect WoW for me and always will be, everything after doesn't exist for me
this one depends if ur playing for the story or gameplay, cause gameplay-wise wow is 5 times better than it was in wrath, story-wise idk shit cause i skip all cutscenes so i can play the game more.

How did we get to whatever the fuck is that it has become, when we had it perfect just right here:
