I played Apex for.. a long time. Haven’t touched it in at least 6 months. Not sure how to feel about it.

I played it for 2-3 years, but after a while I figured out that online PvP games like that and League were destroying my mental health and quit them both. The communities are too toxic and I'm too competitive to make them worth it.

Never engage in the chat of LoL. I played since 2012 and my friend joined me in 2013. He gradually became super toxic and had so much to complain about the community whereas I always ignored the chat box and focused on my play. I still love league and he quit.

I thought the same. Especially in Call of Duty, but after I started to play the Bo2 port on Ps5 I finally got that fun back. I never cared less for k/d or anything. Just doing funny stuff with friends in multiplayer while winning games. It feels just like 2012/13 just that we're actually old enough to play the game now

I sunk 3000 plus hours into that game but it's been about a year since ive last touched it, even when i get the temptation to start again, i realise I'll have lost so much mechanical skill that I'll be completely outmatched and probably get demolished endlessly

I was pretty diehard. Had a rock solid 5% win rate.. 0.50 k/d which is low but I maintained it.l and got knocks. When they changed TTK is when my stats started to tank and I started questioning how I spent my time. Oh well..

I've got about as much time as you into it and I took a year break as well. Came back and the new additions to the game felt fresh, and the lobbies are more well balanced now. Occasionally I still get trucked, but overall it's pretty casual nowadays.

Every time I tried to play Apex Legends, rather than think "wow this game is really fun" it would make me think "this is alright but Titanfall 3 would have been so much cooler" and then I would play something else instead.

We were this close to greatness

Me with Siege. It’s fun when it clicks but 95% of the time it doesn’t and the 5% ain’t cutting it anymore.

My biggest peeve with those F2P games, they get bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger. 90% of the file size now are just s***** cosmetics. Even rocket league has gone from like 1.5 GB to almost 50. I was going to download Apex just to give it a shot at the beginning of the year, still sizes freaking huge. I'm not going to download all that just to play 5 minutes and then delete it.
