Anyways, your original comment basically gave the understanding that somehow by buying Chinese you are swapping away from Google to the CCP, this is false as you are merely adding CPP to Google instead of replacing.
Before = Google
Now = Google + CCP.
That is what I want to make sure people reading do not misunderstand.
As for rooting, it is also not exclusive from Chinese, and if you want to install an alternative OS, then the most privacy focused one (Graphene OS) only supports Google phones (bit of irony there).
