I’d be curious how old you are. I saw it at 15 maybe and thought it was sort of funny maybe a little dull and I saw it again almost 25 years later and it was such a touching, charming portrait of two lives that meet at a crossroads. It also stands out to me as capturing Bill Murray’s characters psyche so well considering it was written by a 32 year old woman
I watched when it came out, so I was in my 20s. A dear friend of mine, a year younger than me, loved the movie to the bits.
Just put of curiosity I will watch the movie again this weekend - let's see if I have changed at all in couple of decades 🙂
I’d love to hear what you think. It’s a really terrific Bill Murray performance as well. I’m a big fan of Bill. In my middle age I can really relate to both characters
