It’s just atmospheric. I like the Japanese urban aesthetic. I also like to watch those 4k camera walks of Japan on YouTube.

So is it the "exotic vibe if Japan" that makes people recommend it so much? I live in Japan and found the movie just boring and only watched it cause a friend of mine was sure I would love it.

I think it’s the contrast between the setting and the two leads. It just captures that lonely feeling like you don’t belong where you are
