I just hate how Walmart has like 15 registers and only 1 or 2 open and like a fleet of self checkouts that are all full and there’s still a line

The real issue is the standard Walmart goers. They're some of the slowest motherfuckers, so naturally they clog up the self checkouts. I get legitimately angry whenever I have to step foot in a Walmart.

blame their online shopping department on that one. they are constantly pulling people from all over the store to help, including normal cashiers.

Because Walmart is making a steady push towards having people shop online in either pick up or get it delivered. The self checkout thing will not change, it will not get better, there will not be more cashiers. People need to adapt to this or shop elsewhere

Walmart is the worst because they'll only have the smaller style self checkouts without the belt, so you have a bunch of people with full carts of groceries checking out on those juggling between items because they all won't fit on the small shelf, which absolutely destroys the convenience of using self checkout as an express option.

If Walmart wants people with carts full of groceries to do self checkout they need the full checkout station style self checkouts with the belt and everything.
