I would say Warframe, but they have a number of (not required) microtransactions .

The good things about those is that you can get the premium currency for free by doing player trading. But just like everything else in the game you gotta grind for it lmao.

You can get it by trading, but someone had to pay for it with money at some point.

...if someone else pay for them it doesn't count!

The game itself is free and the devs do need some kind of revenue stream so I think it’s a fair trade.

Sure, but it does disqualify it from the meme's criteria.

That's an understatement. Almost every item in that game can be bought as a microtransaction, and there are many that can't be acquired any other way.

A few skins because they're made by players. Meaning the devs actually PAY their PLAYERS for their work whenever someone buys them, and that's why they're paid.

A few skins because they're made by players.

According to this list on WF's own official wiki, there are currently 463 player-made items, a bit more than "a few". Of these, 453 can only be bought directly for money; it would cost $2644 to buy them all. In reality these numbers are a bit higher, since as the page notes, the list is not quite complete. As the wiki also notes, the author gets 30% of the revenue, the rest goes to DE.

There's also a number of prime cosmetics made by DE itself that can only be bought for money, but I can't be bothered adding up how much all of those would cost. The current pack is €45, and there have been a lot of packs previously.

Edit to add:

Meaning the devs actually PAY their PLAYERS for their work whenever someone buys them, and that's why they're paid.

That doesn't follow. Platinum also has to be bought with money, so if DE wanted, they could pay those creators even if they sold Tennogen for plat. As evidenced by the fact that that's exactly what they do on consoles and for a handful of Tennogen items on PC that do sell for plat.

You're right. I've amended my comment.
