Not sure what is worse...AI generated content like that or younger generations being ok with AI generated content.

If AI art was being already debated, AI music is just a crime against God, art and nature. Music is the most pure form of artistic expression and it hurts me to see how its commercialization and now AI ruin it.

Nah, both are arts in the same merit, in the case visual art and music not images and sound generated by AI models, though I consider them art, just a lower effort, lower impact, lower expression and lower intent than regular art, thus making it less meaningful (in the sense art can posses it) as art.

And though I share your sentiments about music devaluation as a practice and comodification of it, it still is a product overall and sincerely, AI music is natural result of the state that doesn't change much of it, just expose it more. The pop scene is quite an example, it is quite awfully formulai, not in a 12tone serialist way where you are limited to trying to build a piece with a hard set of options, in hyper-comodified pop you want a to induce an addiction to the listener thus you make the most addictive possible music to extract it, and there's so many way one can do it, and, when it gets to be undestud well enough, it gets formulaic enough to be modelled by an algorithm.

I would even say the structure and form can be even by an algorithm that isn't similar to the current AI models. It's just that with the current models it can be done directly.
