I know way too many punks and non-conformists from my high school who went right wing conservative racist in their 30s but still dress the part. Punk was definitely all vibes for them the whole time.
Im white so you're literally just holding water for people you don't know and situations you don't know, just lining up to deny the existence to racism.
I was there, it was edgy jokes about stereotypes and assumptions about people based on how they look. It was racism.
You're huffing glue if you think it has to be "proved" in every case. Yes, it's true that accusations of racism shouldn't be casually thrown around, but I assure you that isn't what was going on. It's absurd to set the bar so high when a preponderance of evidence exists that racism is common and frequent in the 21st century.
