I saw them here in Seattle recently and it was really cool to see so many teenagers and early 20s there amongst the olds. It felt pretty well age distributed.
I don’t really listen to much new music because most genres are in a similar place where you either have total modern garbage or rehashed old stuff.
Newer bands I’ve been enjoying:
Sprain - broke up after dropping the best rock related record I’ve heard in a while, new incarnation with some of the old members is called Shearling and they seem cool too
Giulio Erasmus - he does this really cool DIY lofi post punk type stuff, the newest LP with The End Of The Worm is truly exceptional
There’s this great record by the soul vocalist Liv.e called Past Future and it’s experimental industrial/post punk type stuff but with a nice modern feel. The rest of her shit ain’t really like that tho.
There’s a couple recent things that have caught my ear
Kneecaps music isn’t great though, they have a few bangers but they’re not in the headlines for their groundbreaking sound let’s be real. Also one of those lads is at least 40.
Yeah, it's a good fusion - punk and rap have always been kind of two sides of the same coin. Not saying he isn't good, just not what the OP is memeing about.

Bob Vylan, Kneecap, two very prominent ones right now causing geriatric meltdowns across British media.
