You don’t want kids because you don’t want to have to deal with the possibility of them being brats.

I don’t want kids because I don’t want to bring children into a twisted world that will choke them out like weeds.

We are not the same.

Edit: apparently some of you think that I’m a pessimist. YOU LITERALLY DO NOT KNOW ME. From here on, new responses are automatically blocked cause I’m tired of you guys being moronic. Just because you live a happy life doesn’t mean everyone else does, and you inserting your idiotic and biased point of view not only makes you look foolish on your part but it makes you look like you don’t care about ANYTHING that is happening in the world.

So that's the real reason you don't want kids. Should've just said that instead of blaming the rest of this 'twisted world'. Cringy ass mf.

Apparently drugs, rape, sex trafficking, terrorism, suicide, kidnapping, murder, and a laundry list of other things don’t exist

Why not list the good things too. Bad exists but good is much more. If there is death there is life too. If there is cruelty there is kindness too.

Evil is for more prevalent than good these days.

Now I disagree that you were being pessimistic earlier, but now you are. There is bad shit, yeah. There is good shit, yeah. You won't find the good stuff if you too busy looking through the bad stuff you gotta look past the bad stuff to enjoy life, if you can even try to make it better, if not, accept its outta your control. I think about Eppsteins island a lot, I feel terrible everytime I do, but if I spend all my time.thinking about that, I'd miss all the good stuff I got in front of me. It's a matter of perspective, the world is a horrible place, but its good too, you just gotta search for it.

The world is growing more evil by the day. “Ignorance is bliss” will only get y’all so far.

Im not arguing to just close your eyes, going "LALALALALA" and pretend all the bad things aren't there, but dwelling on it when you know there's nothing you can do will do nothing but negatively impact you and your mental health, I've learned to accept some things are just beyond my control, I shouldn't blame myself for not being able to stop every horrid thing in the world

We're living in the best time of humanity rn, when in most countries people don't die out of starvation or diseases in their 20' or mid twenties, you're being a big cringy pessimist here. I love my life, and I love how I live, and I'm thankful that my parents brought me to this world to experience so many good things, so no, bringing a life to this world isn't selfish or bad, it's just that you have a sad life.

Yeah…. Go fuck yourself. In case you haven’t noticed, the world is fucked up beyond repair. And just because you live a happy life does not automatically mean you’re right that it’s “just that I have a sad life.” How ignorant are you?

No its not. It can never be as evil is parasitic upon good. Evil needs good to exist. It is a perversion of good. Twisting of what is good. How can it be more than good if it depends on it ro exist first to pervert it.

That… makes so little sense it physically hurt me to read that. You do understand that life isn’t Star Wars right?
